William S. Coleman
Reverend Coleman is a native of Chester, South Carolina. His family relocated to Pageland, South Carolina in the early 1970s. He would later begin his Christian journey by uniting with the Flint Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Pageland. He answered his call to ministry in 1991. Pastor Coleman was elected as Senior Pastor of Sandy Run Baptist Church in Jefferson, South Carolina in1995. After seven years of service at Sandy Run he was elected Senior Pastor of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Pageland in 2002. After four and a half years of service at Mt. Calvary Rev. Coleman was elected Senior Pastor of Bright Light Baptist Church in Heath Springs, South Carolina in 2006 where he is currently the pastor.
Rev. Coleman earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Vorhees College in 2006 and later earned his Master of Arts degree in Christian Leadership from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in 2019.
Rev. Coleman is married to the former Maxine Henderson and to this union they have one daughter Latifah Coleman.
Reverend Coleman's favorite scripture is Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven".
